If you hate blind magazine binding, this product is for you. It may limit you to one round capacity. but that action will be smooth as butter results may vary. I will definitely consider picking some more up for all my rifles with blind magazines.

Single shot magazine follower
I purchased a Rem. 700 medium magazine follower for my Rem. 700 ADL in .308 Win. Drops in the blind mag well and is supported by the existing spring / follower. First time out to the range it worked flawlessly. I never liked, nor ever used, the blind magazine on my ADL's. This works perfectly for single shot loading. Also allows for longer COAL that would be limited by the magazine restrictions.

Great product
I used this little item to correct an ongoing problem with the ill-designed Savage center feed magazine in my 223 varmint rifle. Since the center feed is both difficult to load and problematic in feeding, and not needing fast follow-up shots, I scrapped the center feed magazine assembly and replaced it with a fixed molded block, topped with this device. Loading and feeding are now flawless. Highly recommended for similar applications.

BR Magazine Follower Savage 12VLP
One of my relatives can't seem to control his rate of fire when in prairie dog towns. So, I installed a BR Magazine follower in the rifle he uses. He has burned up a few barrels and I thought this would be an effective way to slow his rate of fire and save on barrel replacement expenses.

Follower works great! A common thing on the innerwebs say these are no good for center feed Savages. I took a 6×.5×.007 feeler gauge and belt it into a bow-spring into the stocks Maxwell. I cemented the follower on top of the newly formed bow, then assembled. Next time I have the rifle apart, I will drill and tap a small screw to hold the follower and feeler gauge leaf together. Awesome product.

This fit right in my Savage 110 blind mag staggered feed and makes it very easy to feed singles. You'll need to take the action out of the stock to get this in the mag. You'll also want to remove the original ramp that is held to the spring by a screw so the new ramp will set straight in the mag.

Target Shooting
These precisely machines bench rest magazine followers are great. Just insert them above the follower plate and you can easily load single shot at the range. The cartridges load and unload smoothly. You can remove them at any time for full magazine loading at any time for hunting, etc. Tip: I turn my rifle upside down and open the floor plate to lift out the spring and follower. Then I just drop in the adapter and close every think back up. Takes about 15 seconds.

Savage 223 short action Model 12
The follower is very well made, very impressed. The follower I ordered is for a savage model 10 and I have a model 12 short action with internal offset magazine - so the follower did not fit out of the package but used some emery cloth to round the front corners a little and after a couple minutes, I had it fitting perfect. it works great, it's nice that I can load one at a time without having to fumble around getting the round into the chamber. Makes F-class night all that more enjoyable!!

I received my follower in the mail very shortly after I ordered on line. My rifle is a Remington 700, 223 with a Krieger barrel. This particular rifle has always been a little fussy about feeding from the magazine. With the new single shot follower, it works fine every time. Later, I shot the tiniest group I've ever fired with that rifle. Coincidence? I think not! Que the spooky music. Buy one.

I ordered the follower on a Friday and had it in my hands on Tuesday. The product finish and machine is excellent. Fit was right what it needs to be for my Savage rifle. This one will save me a lot of time in the F-Class matches I shoot. Certainly much easier than fumbling around trying to get the round started up in the chamber. Now I just drop it in, push the bolt closed and go about making X's.
